Another travel-packed two days—whew. These two days have been so packed. I’ve made it from Iguazu to Cordoba, and I’ve seen some very cool architecture, met some friendly locals and been on some tiny planes.

When I was leaving Iguazu, I saw a dead leopard on the street. So crazy.   This might not be a good idea to have a road encroaching on the cataratas natural habitat.  But I’m so happy to be able to get on the road and to see Cordoba because I’ve never seen this part of Argentina.  I think it’s the second biggest city after Buenos Aires

When I was in Buenos Aires, I was told that here in Cordoba was the old capital. I could have also been mistaken it was a drunken night or learning about argentina. Neverthelesss it made me put it on the list of places to vist since there are some cultural things to do. Since I landed here the only thing I’ve gotten the opportunity to do is kind of take a walk around.

I got here kind of late at in the evening, so there wasn’t much going on, but I sent off my postcards in Iguazu before I left. Sending postcards to friends family and myself is sometimes a way for me to keep mementos of a place. Especially when you get it, and it has all the stamps and customs stickers.  It’s one way I keep my travel spirit nourished.  Some travel days you just feel like it’s waiting for this line, this flight.  It can also be exhausting—the transiting through from Iguacu to Iguazu, then from Iguazu in the morning to the flight in the afternoon to here to Cordoba. Being on the road sometimes can be a little bit stressful and a little bit hectic, especially when there’s not much going on except travel. There’s not even much to talk about today in my journal.

I just wanted to make sure that I got my feelings about moving and seeing the space and getting the vibe of the people. Its strange but there is a distinct difference you feel once you cross back over into Argentina. Here tonight its interesting seeing the buildings but I sort of miss the music that randomly played in Rio. Then this morning being in Iguazu again, it was quiet, kinda sad in a way. My last night was so boring. Nothing open and no people out on the streets. Not even the little tourist market area. I came back and went to bed but didn’t sleep easily. I woke up and I got lunch.

Not only that, but I went to this local lunch place. The walk was short, maybe two blocks up from the hotel, and it was okay.  It didn’t have a name I remember to write here, it’s a nice little spot to grab lunch.  It was very local, the table cloths were aged, the tables a little unsteady and the staff older.  There might have been better spots, but sometimes It’s good to put down google and just explore on your own. I just kind of enjoyed a daily life activity or a moment in the daily life of somebody here in Iguazu. It’s not too lively or anything like that, but not every place has to be a 24-7 club, right?
